One of our favourite trends has definitely got to be the bohemian 70’s revival, which always returns bigger and better each time it makes its way around. Whether it’s a classic pop of paisley, a fringed jacket, a statement bell-sleeve or a coloured retro print – they each play their part in channelling the perfect flashback to everything that the iconic era embodied and help assist in curing our serious case of wardrobe envy of this era.
During the 70’s, we saw the introduction of the original style muses: Farrah Fawcett, Jane Birkin, Stevie Nicks, Bianca Jagger, Twiggy, Jerry Hall and Cher to name a few, who showed us how to effortlessly nail this trend and who perfectly projected in the outfits the rockstar lives that we envisioned these superstars lived. With Woodstock in it’s prime and the rise of the must have it-girl accessory: the Rock n’ Roll Musician Boyfriend, we saw a huge influence from the music world on the fashion industry and a fresh new carefree attitude in the way women dressed and a more diverse and influential take on the ‘festival’ look.
We’ve put together a little edit of some of the latest bohemian inspired pieces from UK brand Glamorous and Mink Pink that have just arrived to showcase our top picks for the upcoming Festival Season and how you too can easily embrace this much loved trend this Summer.
Shot at the brand new Two Thousand Apartment in Paddington this place was the perfect spot for the location we had envisioned for these pieces. With a stack of carefully curated vintage magazines, retro furniture, indoor greenery, a brightly coloured art mural on the entrance wall and an abundance of natural light beaming through to play with, it was enough to create a serious case of nostalgia.
Studs who? It’s all in the detailing – make a statement with metal eyelets.

The Summer Must have: Whether you wear it off both shoulders, one shoulder or layer it – the off the shoulder top has plenty of ways to be worn.
