Time for a threads refresh and wardrobe update?
Last week we teamed up with one of our favourite photographers that is behind Every Last Secondand shot a sweet little edit with our mate and funny man Kai.
We put together some key looks for this season that'll help you dress for all occasions and take you from day-to-night easily or help you be ready for everything and anything - including those nights that start off as a quiet one at home and then quickly whirlwind into a last minute music gig, checking out a new bar that everyone's raving on about or a wild house party.
Keepin' it tonal
Alright, so there's something so refreshing about primarily wearing head-to-toe white and then adding in a pair of black low docs and a belt to pull it together, especially when it comes to Winter! If you can't quite commit to the full thing (e.g you're 99% sure you will spill the entire contents of your midnight burrito all over yourself) then break it up with some neutral tones like a pair of killer beige chinos.
It's a little chilly out there guys - pop a beanie on for extra steeze and added warmth.
Got a favourite shirt you're just not ready to stop wearing yet? Layer it up with a long sleeve tee underneath making it a supertee! We doubled up on some Cheap Monday for this look and are digging the subtle extra logo action happening on the arms. Chuck on the Vanishing Elephant Workers Jacket (yep it's lined making it ridiculously warm - you're welcome!) and you're good to go.
Ripped Jeans? Check. Vans Old Skools? Check. Printed Pullover? Check. These three items are a definete on this season's hitlist - they're versatile, comfortable and instantly add some serious edge to all outfits. Stussy is definitely one of our favourite go-to's when it comes to finding a rad printed pullover or statement-making wear.
We're big fans of some double denim and we're pretty damn happy it's back and here to stay. We started off with some stripes (the perfect companion for it's pal denim), chucked on an oversized Assembly Label denim shirt with a pair of distressed jeans and added a orange beanie to the party! Nailed it.
Being weather ready is an important factor when it comes to this up-and-down weather and our #1 hot tip is a Rains Journal Raincoat. Stylish and practical - is there anything more you could need?
We think we've found wally - only this time he's ditched the outdated red and white striped tee uniform and opted for a much cooler Stussy Spray Jacket and a slick pair of cuffed pants. He's still keeping it real to his global nomad ways though, proudly repping the International Tribe on the back.
We've taken our favourite life-hack when it comes to extending the wearability of your favourite tee during the change of seasons to the next level and added a long sleeve hoodie underneath! This adds another street element to your look and helps with layering up for the chilly days. Want to add a 90's twist to the ensemble? Chuck a Denim Jacket on top and you're set.
