Vans Drop their Stranger Things Collab at Glue Store

Vans Authentics are a low-top style in the checkerboard design that Vans are best known for. This time, decked out in the yellow and orange tones of Surfer Boy Pizza, contrasted with the pitch black of Eleven’s sensory deprivation telekinesis, these low-profile sneakers are made from a durable canvas. Featuring hand-drawn illustrations of Californian palm trees and a surfer dude, hair blowing in the breeze. Surfer Boy Pizza branding spreads onto the midsole, making this a pair of shoes that Argyle would be proud to rock. 

If you prefer the horrors of Hawkins, the  Sk8-Hi Re-issue in an eerie black colourway features a red graphic of a Demogorgon in all its glory. White contrast stitching grounds the shoe in its skater roots while a “Friends Don’t Lie” slogan scrawled on the midsole has one of the resounding themes of the series written all over it. 

Low-top Style 36 Vans are an ode to the Hellfire Club, fronted by Eddie Munson with the glow of magma visible through the cracks that appeared through Hawkins at the end of Season 4. Bright yellow laces stand out from the dark tones of the rest of the shoe while checkerboard pattern on the midsole retain the hand-crafted vibe of the Hellfire Club.
