I have metatarsalgia from breaking 3 metatarsals and toes over the years from playing contact sports. I was originally recommended Brooks for the high arch support and cushioning to help with my condition but never found them comfortable. This was until I found Asics 1090 and similar fits. High arches and a wide toe with plenty of cushioning. I’ve previously purchased asics 1090 and Asics Gel-Nandi OG and used them both for work, gym and play. i thought I’d try something a tiny bit different for work and have found them to be the most comfortable yet.
I’ve gone from Converse to Nike to Solomon to Brooks to Asics and Asics are by far the best for my feet. They don’t last as long as other brands but the returns policy is helpful and I’ve been able to successfully return shoes that wore in the toe a little too fast.
